At this year’s bauma exhibition, visitors at the Scania stand explored how the company’s latest innovations are supporting the construction and mining sectors in their journey toward a more sustainable future — without compromising on power or efficiency.
Scania demonstrated its broad lineup of advanced power solutions, including battery-electric powertrains, gas-powered models, and next-generation internal combustion engines (ICE). Each offering was designed to meet the evolving demands of heavy-duty applications while reducing environmental impact.
A standout at the event was the Scania BEV XT Tipper, equipped with a tandem bogie for optimal traction in challenging site conditions. The model seamlessly merges high performance with sustainability, offering an electric solution tailored for tough construction environments.
Also on display was a CBG Tipper Tractor, powered by compressed biogas, providing operators with extended range capabilities while significantly lowering CO₂ emissions. Adding to the lineup, Scania presented an 8×4/4 heavy haulage tractor featuring the brand’s legendary V8 engine — capable of running on HVO (Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil) — combining powerful performance with reduced emissions.
