Ammann has unveiled its latest Reversible Vibratory Plate Compactors, setting a new benchmark for jobsite efficiency. The newly engineered APR 52/75 and APR 58/75 models not only perform in handling and maneuverability but also achieve an operating speed of 29 meters per minute (1.1 mph). In addition, these machines can climb steep grades of up to 30%, making them an asset for demanding construction environments.
Field testing confirmed the compaction performance of the new models, with operators praising their enhanced speed and ease of use. A redesigned structure, featuring protective tubes instead of traditional hoods, was also well received by customers. This design change improves air circulation, allowing the use of petrol engines that might otherwise overheat.
For users needing to meet specific environmental standards or work in confined spaces, Ammann offers a diesel engine variant equipped with a Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF).
