Not every trade fair serves as a benchmark – bauma is one every time.
bauma 2025, the world’s largest trade show for construction machinery, building materials, mining equipment, and construction vehicles, took place at the Munich Exhibition Center from April 7 to 13, 2025.
In a time of global challenges, bauma once again highlighted the strength and resilience of the industry. More than just a showcase for groundbreaking technologies and new partnerships, the event proved itself a vital driver for progress and collaboration.
The show welcomed around 600,000 visitors from over 200 countries and 3,601 exhibitors from 57 nations – including UAE’s Plant & Equipment. Notably, there was significant growth in international attendance, particularly from the Middle East and Africa.
The next edition of bauma is scheduled for April 3 to 9,
2028, at the Munich Exhibition Center.
Caterpillar
Visitors were shown the CAT 950GC electric wheel loader as part of Caterpillar Inc.’s celebration of its 100th anniversary, which is centered on “The Next 100 Years” of innovation and sustainability at bauma Munich 2025. The zero-exhaust emission loader is powered by Caterpillar battery prototypes and include an onboard AC charger.
Komatsu
Komatsu presented the enormous PC7000-11E hydraulic mining excavator, which represents a new level of versatility and efficiency in mining equipment. The excavator has a class-leading 44m³ bucket and is designed to satisfy the high demands of modern mining operations. Next to it was Komatsu’s latest rigid dump truck, HD605-10, equipped with a powerful 610 kW Stage V engine.
Liebherr
Liebherr’s electric R 9400 E mining excavator produces zero local emissions. This 350-tonne machine can be linked directly to the mains via a cable up to 300 metres long or to a battery energy storage system.
Hitachi
Hitachi Construction Machinery’s LANDCROS One is a revolutionary concept machine that aims to reshape the future of construction. This nextgeneration excavator boasts a sleek, futuristic appearance that highlights innovation in power, operability, and digital integration. LANDCROS One intends to provide three adjustable powertrain alternatives – electric, hydrogen, and diesel – to provide a versatile and sustainable operational experience.
CASE
CASE unveiled a cutting-edge new electric wheel loader with a bold, angular design that forgoes the conventional operator cab instead opting for autonomous driving for increased safety and accessibility.
Bobcat
Bobcat’s Demo Show at bauma 2025 included skilled operators performing moves and operations on small Skid-Steer Loaders such as the S630, S650, and L95 Compact Wheel Loader that are never imagined possible. On top of that, Bobcat lifted an S450 into the skies above Munich with a TR60.260 Rotary Telehandler.
